6 months old's mouth bleeding?
I just alid my son down for a nap, and when he started crying, I left him for maybe 1 min... because sometimes he calms himself...
when I went in, we have a covering over the railing of the bed, because he pulls himself up and chews on it... the covering is white. He was chewing on the railing (the white covering) and there was blood on it.. I looked and found out that it was his top gum that was bleeding. He has no teeth yet, and i still dont see any cutting thru. What could be a likely cause for this bleeding? He does sleep with a binky, but I don't see how it could make him bleed... There is nothing else in his crib but a blanket, a small bear and a binky.
The covering I have on the railing is very soft and padded.

He probably gummed the railing too hard and gave himself a little cut inside his mouth. So long as there is no MORE blood, you should be good but if you see any more, I would take him to the Doctors. He might be teething so they gum everything to make it feel better. Get him a ring you can put in the freezer so he can cool his gums. They are inexpensive.
