Are there any safety problems to worry about when travelling on a plane?
Everyone has pondered about whether or not people should fly. But why would we have been given the intelligence to create these massive flying machines.
Aeroplanes have been the fear of many travellers; some people won’t even fly at all, but is this an irrational fear? Realistically speaking the odds of being in a plane crash are so unbelievably low that fear of flying doesn’t make much sense. In actual fact the odds of being in a plane crash are on average about one in five hundred thousand!! If you drive you may be surprised to find out that on average you have a one in four chance of having an accident`. Planes have a massive amount of safety equipment on board and some of the best trained men and women across the world.
So for those people scared of being in Planes, are they also scared of being in a car? This all means that flying is actually about 100,000 times safer than driving. Flying to Caribbean holidays is always looked forward to, as long as the air con above your seat works. Just becuase you dont physically control the plane, remember the people at the front of the plane have some training, they know what they are doing. So if you think about it really hard, you have nothing to worry about. And if you haven’t been on a plane before, then go now, the sun is shining and the weather looks great for this summer.

What's the best flight school to go to out of Flight Safety, Delta Connection, and ATP?
I'm planning to go to flight school within the next few months. I have narrowed my search to these three schools and would like to know what anyone has to say about them. I'm not sure if I want to fly commercial or corporate after school. I would like to know what will be best for the money and preparation for the future. Thanks.
Answer:
Stay away from Delta Connection. Although they may have quality training, for some reason the airline pilot community has very little respect for people from this school. There are a lot of stupid reasons for this, but it is a reality. By not going there you will save yourself some aggravation later on if you decide on an airline career.
I have done some simulator training at Flight Safety. It is a quality flight school and is well respected in the industry.
I have friends who have trained at ATP and said they liked the training and the experience that they got there. They are working for various airlines, so it seems to be a good school as well.
If it were me, I would go with Flight Safety, but I'd have to do some more research on ATP to be sure.
