If Ovulation Has Already Happened, When Should I Try To Have Intercourse For A Boy Or Girl Baby?
I often hear from women or couples who have either just ovulated or feel that they are very close to having this happen. And, once many get a positive (or nearly positive) reading from an ovulation predictor (or other method,) many aren't sure how or when to proceed. I often hear comments like: "I just ovulated this morning. When should I go ahead and have sex and try to conceive a girl / boy baby?" (depending on which gender or sex is preferred.) The answer to this question depends on a few factors, which I will discuss below.
Sex After Ovulation Has Occurred Is Best For A Boy Baby (Although It's Not Impossible To Conceive A Girl Baby After Ovulation:) If the person in question is trying for a boy baby, then optimal sex can occur on the day of ovulation or even on the day after (and in some cases as long as two days out – although the chances of success decrease as time goes by.) The boy producing sperm live for a shorter amount of time than the girl producing sperm which is why it's necessary to wait until after ovulation.
Many people will read this and think that this means that if they want a girl, then they have no chance of conceiving after ovulation. This isn't necessarily the case. The girl sperm can live for many days longer than the boys. However, the draw back with trying to conceive a girl after ovulation is that you have much larger numbers of viable and fast boy sperm racing for the egg. (This is particularly important because the boy sperm are said to be faster than their girl producing counter parts.) However, if you conceive before ovulation takes place, then by the time your egg is released, many of those same Y (boy producing sperm) would have died off. Therefore, the number of girl sperm to boy sperm are much more favorable – giving you a much better chance of conceiving a girl.
Of course, this doesn't mean that you can't conceive a girl after ovulation or that you can't conceive a boy before it. Instead, it means that you can increase or improve your odds if you let your timing work for you rather than against you.
How Your PH Works With Your Timing In Determining The Best Time To Have Sex For A Girl Or Boy Baby (As It Relates To Your Ovulation:) Many people mistakenly think that all they have to do is to get their timing (ovulation calculations) down and the rest will fall into place. Your PH is every bit as important as your timing and can actually work together with your timing to give you the best chance of success.
An acidic PH helps to further weed out the Y or boy sperm if you want a girl, while an alkaline PH encourages those same Y's. So if you're trying for a boy baby, you want an alkaline PH. The opposite is true if you're trying for a girl. If you have any concerns as to making a decision on your timing, you might want to have a look at your PH. If ovulation has already occurred, you want a girl, and you are alkaline, then at least in my opinion, it's unquestionably best to wait until the timing and the PH are better (and you can certainly change your PH by the time your next ovulation period comes around.)
People often ask me what they should do if their timing (as it relates to conception) isn't optimal but their PH is right or vice verse. They often wonder whether they should go ahead and have sex and try to conceive (while hoping for the best) or if they should wait until all variables are optimal. I can't make this decision for anymore, but I can tell you that you're chances are going to be undoubtedly better if you have everything in place – and this includes the right timing as it relates to ovulation, the right PH, and the right sexual positions, used all at the same time.
If you need help figuring out when (or how) to conceive a girl or boy baby, I've put together a few websites that might be useful. There's more detailed instructions and resources that might make this process a whole lot easier.
