What do you do with the bugaboo bassinet when you have the travel bag?
I am planning on buying a bugaboo chameleon and want some advise on how you travel with this. I will be moving to Canada shortly and am expecting my first baby in September. My partner and i will be flying home to the UK for a visit in November and as baby will only be 2 months old we were planning on using the bassinet part of the pram. I presume that this will not fit into the Bugaboo travel case along with the frame??? Can the bassinet be taken onto the flight or am i better off using the maxi-cosy car seat? Ideally i want to take the bassinet AND the car seat. I am really unsure about what you can take on the flight with you and what must be checked in. I do not want to check in the frame at the gate as i have heard they can get bashed about so will be using the travel bag for that.

I will take both, since you need the car seat for taxi rides and etc. it will be a bit hard to carry them on the plane, but you need the bassinet for the baby to sleep in while you're in Can.
Do not check them on the gate. it will be destroyed completely! make sure you walk the baby on the car seat attachment to where you board the plane and hand it to the fly attendant or the person by the plane door can put it under the plane after all the luggage have been put on the plane. then when you get off you can wait for it, they will hand you a ticket. Thats how I have seen people do it.
