Get the Right Baby Jogging Stroller the First Time
Exercising is important for every person, and many mothers choose to jog for their daily exercising. Unfortunately, regular baby strollers are difficult to maneuver, and they usually slow you down. The idea is to exercise through jogging, not fighting with your regular baby stroller. Developers have come up with a brilliant solution for the problem though with the design of baby jogging strollers, as they make it easy for you to push the stroller around and still keep your child in comfort. There are so many different types of baby jogging strollers on the market that it is easy to become confused when you are shopping for one. The easy answer is that there is no wrong choice, but there are a few things that you should know about baby jogging strollers before you get in over your head.
Wheels
You will find that baby jogging strollers have three common wheel sizes: twelve inch, sixteen ", and 20 inch. The 12 inch wheels are the best choice for walking on smooth terrain, like tracks and sidewalks. You can use strollers with 16 inch wheels in the same situations as 12 inch wheeled strollers, but you can also use them to go over a little rougher terrain such as grass and bumpy lawns. The 20 inch wheels allow you to walk or jog on rough terrain, and are typically used in longer distances.
Materials
Try to make sure that you will hubs aren't made out of steel but rather made out of an alloy material. When you get an alloy material you don't have the problems of weight and rusting like steel parts do. The alloy is much lighter and easier to take care of.
What the frame is made out of is also really important. Soma manufacturers construct the jogging strollers with metal tubing and plastic joints linking the pieces together while others are built with entirely welded aluminum joints. Obviously the welded aluminum frames are best so this is what you are going to want in your baby jogging stroller. The aluminum alloy is going to allow the stroller to be a lot lighter anyway.
Swiveling wheels
There are several makes of baby jogging strollers that have the wheels that swivel as well. If you plan on using your jogging stroller like you would an ordinary stroller than this is the perfect choice for you. The swiveling front wheels of the baby jogging stroller can also be locked so that you have the tracking and stability for jogging.
Safety harness
One of the most important aspects of any baby jogging stroller is the safety harness system. This harness is what will keep your child safe while riding inside the stroller. The safety belt system in the stroller should be at least five point system. If something untoward happened and you lost your grip of the stroller, you want to make sure that the safety wrist tether isn't going to cause your child to fly out of the baby jogging stroller.
Chances are you're going to consider the price of the baby stroller as well as the points stated above. Baby jogging strollers are going to have varying prices just like any other items. Pricing of baby jogging strollers is dictated by the materials that they are made from as well as the brand names.

Frequently Asked Questions...
Wow, I just read a question about using a wrist rein...?
And I'm amazed that so many people think that using a 'harness' means that parents are treating children like animals by tying them up...but surely it's safer for us to have these reins than to have an extremely excitable child run out into a road and get hit by a car, or to have them run off and get lost in busy shop, or abducted!
Isn't it time that people stopped criticising those who just look out for the protection and saftey of their youngsters?
Oh- I'm not saying that those who don't use them aren't helping their children be safe though! Don't think that just because you choose not to use them I'm saying you don't care about safety, I just think that those who use them shouldn't be yelled at for making the decision to use reins....
Answer:
When I first saw a kid in a harness many years ago, my initial reaction was positive. I told my wife, "What a great idea." It still is.
