Specifically the ICU, have you ever had problems with doctors at Kaiser Permanente? Have they ever mistreated patients or visiting family members? My family has had a really bad experience with them and I want to know if anyone else has been affected by them.

i know alot of people that had issues with kaiser a friend of mine had her baby at around 930pm and the next day at 8am so all of like 11 hrs later they discharged her and told her if she wanted to stay another night it would cost like 500bux or something. like a year ago on the news they O.D'd a 2 year old and denied the fact that they didnt give him any medication they "lost" his chart and the autopsy showed overdose for medication the little boy didnt even need. just nurses being rude in general. my aunt when she had surgery for a hernia she had to go to the bathroom and her dr told her that when she had to go to let a nurse know and they would help her and we where all downstairs eating lunch and called for a nurse and they said they would be there in 5 minz 45minz after she called a nurse i went back to her room to let her know that my uncle was in the bathroom with stomach issues and she was cryin and told me she needed to use the bathroom and ended up havin diaria and went in the bed and she was lyin in it for 20minz cuz no 1 would come to her. that was probly the thing that pissed me off the most but yea those are somethings from people i know. oh also my husbands cousin had pnuemonia and her dr said it was jus a cough gave her some robitussin with codine (she's allergic to codine) and sent her on her way. a few hours later she was in the ER and the dr said oh maybe i should have done a chest xray to make sure and sent her to the hospital
